Middle Lane Methodist Church has been an amazing partner to the Foodbank, providing premises and unwavering support. We would like to offer our particular thanks to Rev Matthew Lunn.

 

The Felix Project collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold. Felix deliver this surplus food to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.

Felix supplies these surplus items to Hornsey Food Bank every week 

 

Food Bank Aid is a grassroots charity which is tackling the daily challenge of food poverty in North London. Operating as a central donation and distribution hub, we collect and purchase food, toiletries and household goods and distribute them to food banks where the need is most.

FBA supplies Hornsey food bank with 20% of our needs every week.

 

Waitrose Crouch End

We have run a stall outside Waitrose every 6-8 weeks, where we have collected food donations from Waitrose customers as well as financial donations and recruited volunteers. The Waitrose staff have been extremely helpful and supportive. 

 

David Astburys

David Astbury Estate agents in Crouch End act as a drop-off point for donations and collect and deliver bread for the food bank from local bakers each week.

 

Dunns Bakery in Crouch End have kindly been donating fresh bread, cake and rolls.

 

The Grocery Post is a local neighbourhood grocery shop in Highgate which has been making weekly donations of great quality and variety of fresh fruit and veg to the food bank for over a year.

 

The Crouch End hairdressers Peppermint Green, at 126 Crouch Hill, generously gave 40 Food Bank guests Christmas gifts of vouchers for a cut and blow dry by one of their up and coming young stylists,

 

Alexandra Palace Allotments, located off Alexandra Palace Way, have been making weekly donations during the growing season since the very beginning of the food bank. They always donate a great variety of super fresh, local fruit and veg.

 

Sourdough Sophia in Crouch End have kindly been donating fresh baked goods to the Foodbank.

 

Wenzel’s Bakery have generously donated freshly baked goods such as bread and cakes for our guests.

 

Magic Little Grant - We received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Society Trust.

Postcode Society Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups. Our project received £500 towards the Hornsey Food Bank’s additional support for families during the winter school holidays.
